YELLOW CLASS
The word “beginning”or “to begin” implies a kind of tention, some adventure, questions and maybe fear, but also expectations…… I could go on and on.
I am an adult, a mature woman, a mother, and a teacher finding myself on the threshold of a new stage in my life, on the threshold of a new school year, in a renewed school building with new people, and mainly, with 23 first graders in Narnia primary school. I am preparing everything in my classroom and thinking of the children, my first graders.
D-day is here; we have launched the new school year!
Yes, it’s finally here – the beginning of the school year. Our hearts are sounding the alarm, because somewhere inside we feel that something is ending and a new adventure is beginning.
Our Yellow Class is beautiful and clean with each one of us finding our own place. A place where we will be discovering what God has put into us: our talents, strengths and weaknesses, as well as the ability to build new friendships in an atmosphere of joy and safety. But how are we going to achieve all this? Well, I do believe we are going to achieve it all – we do have each other and our closest relations: mother, father, brother, sister, grandma, grandpa. They all, with suspense but bravely, will help us along the way.
So let’s start discovering the world!
