A Day at School
Each day begins by sitting in a circle on the carpet and having a class lesson or JaSOM (Me and the World Around Me) or Opening. We talk about different experiences, about the Bible and God; we solve class issues, we study the encyclopedia, or we watch a 10-15 minute segment of a video related to the topic of the month.
Weather permitting, children spend their breaks in the school yard; otherwise, children can play in the playroom, library, or the classroom. During these breaks, teachers are responsible for supervising the students according to the school rules.
